DAVIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CLOSING EVENT

As we head into spring we are making plans for the closing of Davis Elementary. It has been a very busy year as we prepare for the big move in September. The coming months promise to be busier still as packing time gets closer. In light of this we are planning an Open House tentatively scheduled to go ahead on Saturday, March 23. The school will be open to parents, students, former students, former staff, and the general public. We realize this is a little early but would like to complete this event before we begin packing. More details on the Open House will follow.

SALE OF DAVIS ELEMENTARY KEEPSAKES

We are in the process of selecting several items to sell to parents or the public. These items would be keepsakes of Davis Elementary. A separate letter will be sent home in the next week with more information.

CRITERION-REFERENCED TESTS

Our Grade 3 students and teachers have been working very hard all year preparing for the provincial assessments, Criterion-Referenced Tests in Language Arts and Math. The first portion of this, the Process Writing piece, will begin at the end of March. More information will be sent home soon.
